Ag Natural Photography by Ed Williams

Behind the Scenes

Ed and Julie Williams grew up in small farming and ranching towns in California's northern Sacramento Valley. They have been married for 25 years and have raised two extraordinary young men, Kevin and Brian. Ed has worked for the California Department of Food and Agriculture since 1982. Twenty-five years inspecting and protecting agriculture for California has lead to a deep appreciation of the landscape and the people of agriculture. Julie is an aspiring author, has written her first novel, and is actively seeking a publisher for "Where Freedom Lies."

Every now and then "road fever" strikes and they go traveling. Mountains, coasts, oceans, deserts, valleys, forests, cities, towns, farms, ranches, wildlife refuges, National Parks and Monuments, Historical Sites, Capitols, even backyards and gardens, you name it they are on the "must see" list.

We hope you can come along with us in a small way as you view the photographs on this website. We invite you to take it home as you see a shot that reminds you of the trip to the ocean or the lake, when you went to the country to pick peaches or apples as a child, when you saw the wild deer in the forest or the geese on their annual migratory flight overhead.
